South Georgia College is a two year college located on 190 acres in the rural southeast Georgia town of Douglas. South Georgia's nearly 1,500 students come primarily from southeastern and south central Georgia, but the college's residential facilities enable the institution to draw students from other regions of the state, neighboring states and foreign countries. Students pursue associate degrees in 23 majors which transfer to other institutions, and associate degrees and certificate programs in 10 majors designed to prepare them for careers in nursing, business and information systems. Outside of class, students can participate in a wide range of activities, cultural events and intercollegiate sports including baseball, soccer and softball. The campus serves as a cultural and athletic hub for area residents and for students.

Valdosta Tech currently operates facilities that total over 178,000 square feet on the main campus. The main campus occupies 123 acres of land in north Lowndes county. Currently, VTC offers over 135 programs during the day, in the evening, and online, that lead to awards at the degree, diploma, and certificate levels.
