Small Business Counseling
The Chamber of Commerce can help small businesses seeking assistance by referring the business to the Small Business Development Center, where they will have the opportunity to make an appointment to meet with a business development specialist who can offer expert advice.
Groundbreaking and Ribbon Cuttings
Grand Openings and Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies are available to members who open new business or those members that are re‑locating or expanding their existing business. Chamber Board Members and local Officials will attend to welcome and support the new business and your business will receive free newspaper coverage through our local newspaper. In addition, Members enjoy free advice and assistance from our staff, in staging Ribbon Cuttings, Groundbreakings, and other similar events.
Free Notary Public Service for Members
The Chamber provides notary services free of charge for all chamber members. Simply bring your document to the Welcome Center during regular business hours.
Business After Hours
The Chamber provides an opportunity for the business to show off their facilities and products by hosting an informal community gathering after the work day is complete. These events are designed to highlight the hosting business and are perfect networking opportunities to establish new relationships and business contacts.
Drugs Don’t Work
Georgia’s Drugs Don’t Work Program entitles participating businesses to a 7.5% discount on their worker’s compensation insurance premiums. The Chamber has many resources available to companies wishing to start a Drugs Don't Work program in their workplace.

A Chamber of Commerce website is generally the first place of inquiry for prospective visitors who are searching for lodging, food, recreation, and other products or services. As a chamber member your business’s contact information and website address (if applicable) will be listed free of charge in our on-line interactive membership directory.
Membership Plaque
Customers like to do business with firms that have a stake in the community that supports them. A Chamber of Commerce membership plaque on your wall makes a statement. It tells everyone you are a home town business that is here to stay.
Brochure Distribution
As a member of the chamber you are welcome to provide business cards and/ or brochures for display in the Welcome Center. Hundreds of people visit the center each year and displaying your business’s information provides excellent exposure for your products or services.
